Elizabeth
Davis is a Senior Policy Analyst at the Fiscal Studies Program
of the Nelson A. Rockefeller Institute of Government. She is responsible
for the quarterly State Revenue Report, tracking state tax revenue
and the impact of tax cuts or increases. She has also written reports
on many state and local fiscal topics tax collections and
issues, major spending areas, economic assumptions underlying state
budgets, and how states plan for tax cuts and spending increases.
Previously, Davis has been a grant coordinator, a media director,
and a correspondent for the local New York and New Jersey newspapers
covering council and school board meetings. Davis has an M.A. in
public policy from SUNY Albanys Rockefeller College of Public
Affairs and Policy and a B.A. from Wesleyan University.
