PRLDEF
Institute for Puerto Rican Policy, the Policy Division of the Puerto
Rican
Legal Defense and Education Fund

The
PRLDEF Institute for Puerto Rican Policy was created as a result
of the recent merger between the Puerto Rican Legal Defense and
Education Fund (PRLDEF), founded in 1972, and the Institute for
Puerto Rican Policy (IPR), founded in 1982. This new division of
PRLDEF will conduct policy analysis and advocacy, and will collaborate
with PRLDEF's Litigation Division to integrate the organization's
litigation and policy work.
