CITY PROJECT

City Project, Inc., a nonprofit organization, seeks to ensure equity in resource allocation and cost effective government services through analysis, education, and advocacy. Founded in 1984, City Project is the fiscal voice for all New Yorkers promoting justice through the examination of the City's budget and management policies. City Project puts teeth into advocacy by identifying additional revenues, examining current expenditures, analyzing management issues, and organizing New Yorkers to promote just and equitable City policies in the allocation and distribution of the City's resources. City Project is the coordinator for the ALTERBUDGET Agenda, an annual alternative to the Mayor's proposed budget.
